This policy explains what happens to information when you use Unemployment Claim Map (unemploymentclaimmap.com).

The short version

You don't need an account. When you download, copy or print one of our documents, we save only your name, your phone or email (if you gave one), your state and which document it was. We never save your Social Security number, claimant ID, case number, employer, wages, dates, reasons or anything you wrote in your own words. We don't sell information. We run a cookie-free visit counter to see how many people use the site.

The documents

The appeal request letter, the hearing preparation checklist and the overpayment waiver letter are made in your browser, and the PDF, Word and text files are created on your device. When you download, copy or print one of them, we save: the name you entered, the phone number or email you entered (if any), the state you chose and the type of document. We also record the page, the date and time, and your approximate location (country and state) based on your IP address.

Claim details are never saved or sent. We do not save your Social Security number, your claimant ID or PIN, a case or docket number, your employer's name, your wages, any date (including the date of a notice), the reasons you give, the text of your appeal, the items you check or anything else you typed in your own words. These details stay in your browser and in the file you create. We don't save anything you type until you download, copy or print.

We use the saved information to understand how many people in each state use our tools and to improve our guides. We don't sell it, and we don't share it except with service providers that host our site and database (Cloudflare), or if the law requires it. We keep it for up to three years, then delete it. To see or delete it, email hello@robinclaim.com with the name you used, and we will respond within 30 days.

The calculators

The appeal deadline calculator and the weekly benefit estimate work in your browser. The dates and wages you enter in them are not saved or sent.

Information collected automatically

Cloudflare, which hosts the site, receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you request, to deliver the page and protect the site.

We run our own visit counter. It does not use cookies. It keeps a random visit identifier in your browser's local storage. For each visit it records the pages viewed, the site you came from, the time spent on each page, clicks on buttons and links, your IP address, your country, state and city, and your device and browser type. We keep visit records for 5 years and then delete them. We don't use Google Analytics on this site.

Email, children and your rights

If you email us, we use your message only to reply. Please don't send us your Social Security number or claim details by email. This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Residents of states such as California may have additional rights.
